The sixth largest utility company in the U.S. was formed from a merger between PECO Energy in Philadelphia and Unicom in Chicago. Backe Interactive designed and developed a complex Intranet joining all corporate employees. The foundation of the Intranet is a custom Content Management System based on a Microsoft SQL Server relational database.
